Hi, I am submitting this letter to compliment Winnie Yeo, a KIA sales consultant for her exemplary service.

I first knew Winnie when I walked into your showroom at Alexandra Road 3 1/2 years ago. I was posted back to Singapore from HK and have been without a car for about a year then. Although my dad was driving a KIA Optima, I wanted to keep an open mind and was evaluating different marques. I wanted a SUV to accommodate my new born son, my helper, my wife and occasionally my parents or in-laws. Winnie was very knowledgeable and eventually I was sold my first KIA, the Sorento.

I enjoyed driving my Sorento and it was a trouble-free 3 1/2 years. Thanks to the fact that Winnie has remained at the same company for a long time, I could communicate with her occasionally when I ran into minor issues like flat battery or punctured tyre.

It was about 3 months ago when I read about the new Sportage GT and its impending arrival in Singapore. Even then, I told myself perhaps I should try a different brand like Audi or a Japanese car. When the new GT arrived and KIA was doing the soft launch, Winnie engaged me and sent me detailed information of this car and its merits. She was patient in answering several rounds of queries from me.

The biggest factor in clinching the deal : Winnie worked tirelessly to sort out my previous car loan with Maybank, source for a best-in-town resale value, and ensure that my transfer of ownership to the new GT is a seamless one. Of course, the effort in getting me a good deal helped too. If not, instead of a Sportage GT, I would be driving a Mitsubishi Outlander, a Nissan Quashi or an Audi A5 now.

In summary, one often claims that the best car can sell by itself. But more often than not, it is the salesperson and the service that clinch the deal over your competitors. I hope Winnie will continue to contribute to KIA and the company will value such a veteran sales consultant. When I collected my new Sportage GT on 9 Nov, I told Winnie, "keep in touch. Who knows, in a few years, I may buy my 3rd KIA from you!"

I have really enjoyed driving my Sportage GT. My family, friends & colleagues have said 'wow' when they were riding in the car.

The most spectacular factor is the sporty handling and feel behind the wheels. The engine sound, the suspension, the auto hold, the auto tail gate - these are features that make the GT special.

I feel that the car is more powerful than the stated horsepower and the pickup is better than what is stated.

Hope more car buyers can own the Sportage GT and I look forward to seeing more of them on the road soon!
