Knowing how we service and maintain your car is just as important as knowing when to do it. Here is some useful information about vehicle warranty, servicing and maintenance you might need.
Customers purchasing new Gogoro electric motorcycles from Cycle & Carriage 2-Wheeler Pte. Ltd (CC2), the authorized partner in Singapore, will receive warranty services at no additional charge, under the following conditions:
• The motorcycle is operated and maintained according to the instructions in the owner's manual.
• Defects, malfunctions, or damages are reported within the warranty period.
• Cycle & Carriage service staff inspect the motorcycle and confirm that it is eligible for warranty coverage.
Gogoro reserves the right to provide warranty services through its authorized partner, Cycle & Carriage 2-Wheeler. Parts replaced under warranty will become the property of Cycle & Carriage 2-Wheeler.
• Duration: Twelve (12) months or up to 40,000 km, whichever comes first.
• The warranty period begins from the vehicle's registration date, as recorded by Cycle & Carriage in the customer information system.
The warranty will not cover, or may be voided in, the following cases:
• Natural disasters, accidents, or other unforeseen circumstances (force majeure).
• Non-functional issues like noise, vibration, or faded exterior color that do not affect overall performance.
• Wear and tear on consumable parts, such as tires, belts, and brake pads.
• Environmental factors including but not limited to pollution, bird droppings, oxidation, weathering, or exposure to chemicals.
• The use of unauthorized parts or repairs by non-Cycle & Carriage service centers.
• Misuse of the vehicle, including racing, acrobatic activities, or riding on non-paved surfaces.
• Modifications to the original design or removal of serial numbers.
• Warranty services are offered only at designated Gogoro service centers operated by Cycle & Carriage 2-Wheeler.
• Any expenses related to warranty claims, such as rental vehicle costs or transportation fees, are not covered.
• Warranty coverage may be limited by the availability of service centers and their specific service capabilities.
Certain situations are not covered under the warranty:
• Consumable Items: Consumables such as screws, oils, belts, and brake pads are excluded from warranty coverage.
• Environmental Wear: Damage caused by environmental factors (e.g., rust, oxidation, weathering) is not covered.
• Modification or Unauthorized Service: Any modification or repairs carried out by unauthorized personnel will void the warranty.
• Delayed Service: Any delay in bringing the vehicle in for warranty claims or failure to perform regular maintenance will void the warranty.
After the expiration of the warranty period, Cycle & Carriage 2-Wheeler may offer repair services at an additional cost. For out-of-warranty repairs, customers will be responsible for all associated costs, including transportation fees, taxes, and parts.
To make a warranty claim, the following steps must be taken:
1. Provide the vehicle registration ID and relevant documentation when visiting a service center.
2. Schedule an appointment at a Gogoro official service center operated by Cycle & Carriage.
3. Allow Cycle & Carriage service staff to inspect the vehicle to confirm warranty eligibility.
This warranty is applicable only for Gogoro vehicles purchased and used in Singapore. Warranty services outside Singapore are not guaranteed.
In case of widespread defects or local regulatory requirements, Gogoro may initiate a service campaign to replace defective parts. Customers will be informed by Gogoro or Cycle & Carriage 2-Wheeler if their vehicles are included in such a campaign.
